About ImpactDriver.net

ImpactDriver.net is an independent guide to impact drivers: how they work, how to choose one and how to use one well.

What we do

We focus on one tool category and cover it in depth: basics, tool-vs-tool comparisons, brand and model guides, buying advice, bits and accessories, technique and troubleshooting. Every page aims to answer one question completely, without filler.

How we research

  • Manufacturer specifications are our starting point for torque, speed, blow rate, size, weight and modes. We say when a number comes from a spec sheet, and we note that brands measure torque differently.
  • Platform context, including battery range, tool range, warranty and availability, because the battery you buy decides your next ten tools.
  • Long-term owner feedback: recurring praise and complaints across reviews and forums, weighted by how often they appear.
  • Technique guidance from fastener and tool manufacturers' published instructions where they exist.

We do not invent test results. If we run hands-on tests, the page will say exactly what we tested and how.

How we make money

Some links go to Amazon, and we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no cost to you. We never accept payment for placement or for a positive verdict. Read the affiliate disclosure.
